iPhone Apps For Toddlers - Pango Playground for Kids

My toddler loves to play games on the iPhone.

One of the recent games she's been into is "Pango Playground for Kids."

Of course, I stress the importance of getting outside daily to play too, but for the rainy days or waiting for our food at a restaurant, I have to admit I've reached for my iPhone more than once to entertain her.

Pango Playground For Kids is an interactive sort of playset, where she can manipulate a train to move, move obstacles in and out of the way, make trees grow, make it day or night and move the little characters around in the playground.

I love it because she doesn't just sit, stare and zone out like she would with a movie or other entertaining game.  She's in control of what happens (or doesn't happen) in this game.

Plus, it's only $1.99 - and it provided my toddler with hours and hours of interactive fun. Here's a little video so you can check it out for yourself!

You can find Pango Playground For Kids here at the iTunes app store.

  1. I think my daughter would love this! We're taking a trip at the end of the month that includes a plane ride, and I think games on our iPod Touch are going to be lifesavers. Do you know if this can be downloaded to iPods, or only to iPhones?
