Comforts for Baby Gift Set by Kroger {Review & Giveaway}

I will be the first to admit, I typically think generic brands don't work as well as name brands.

So, I was curious when Comforts for Baby, a Kroger store brand recently sent me a Comforts for Baby Gift Set to review. 

The items were packaged nicely inside a sturdy black diaper bag with the cute Comforts for Baby symbol on the front. Non offensive and in a neutral green color. I love the size of the diaper bag, about the size of a large handbag or daybag - not the size of a huge duffel bag, which is good in my book. 

Inside a the diaper bag, I found a 31 pack of diapers, some cotton swabs, baby oil and powder, baby wipes and a set of sippy cups.  

Right away I started using the diapers in place of my name brand diapers.  31 Diapers later, and not one leak.  Well, not for me anyway, my hubby says he thinks he remembers one.

I liked that the diapers weren't bulky, very streamlined and trim.

I think my favorite item in the whole package was their disposable cups.

It's too often, that we forget a sippy cup at a playgroup or out at a restaurant.  The disposable sippy cups are great for packing when we travel to a relative's home or to stash in the car in case one gets lost.

Note, these aren't spill-proof cups - just good ol' BPA free plastic cups with a sippy top. I've actually washed mine and keep using them, no need to throw away if they still work, right?

So, at the end of the day, this store brand seems to be standing up to a challenge. Kroger's Comforts for Baby is A-okay in my book.
