How To Throw A Toddler Pirate Party #DisneySide

Growing up as a child in Southern California, one of the Disney Parks was only a quick hour's drive away - Disneyland!

However, being the child of a stay-at-home mom and hard working dad, we didn't have extra cash to spend on regular trips to Disney, so I think I went only once before I was a grown adult.

I think it's better that I only experienced the magic of Disney a few times, as it makes the memories that much more precious to me. Boy, was it magical.

When I was asked to throw a Disney Side @Home Celebration by MomSelect to show off my #DisneySide I already knew...PIRATES would be the theme. 

Getting Ready For Our #DisneySide Pirate Birthday Party!

Oh, excuse me. I think I may have gotten a little carried away with the preparations for my #DisneySide Pirate Party!

I am super excited to announce that I was chosen from thousands of applicants to host a Disney Side @Home Celebration!

The box full of #DisneySide surprises may have arrived a little worse for the wear (see photo above), but all the contents were luckily stowed safe and sound inside the American Tourister Luggage (the official luggage of Walt Disney World Resort) - which was my gift for hosting the party!

This @Home Celebration Kit came at the perfect time, as my daughter's third birthday party was around the corner, and her request for a Pirate themed birthday party fit exactly into MY idea of a #DisneySide party. 

Growing up in Southern California, you'd think I would have frequented Disneyland often, but due to the cost, and my parents being hard working individuals, we only went a handful of times before I was an adult.

I remember my favorite part of Disneyland, by far, was the Pirates of the Caribbean ride!  So, it's only fitting that my daughter would also share a love of all things PIRATE!
