LÄRABAR® goes Organic & is Fair Trade Friendly! [Review & Giveaway]

Mom's rarely get time to sit down for an actual meal, am I right?

A bite here and bite there, in between heating up my toddler's lunch, feeding the newborn and wiping up the spilled milk, I'm lucky if I get a real meal in most days.

LÄRABAR®, makes for a great and healthy "inbetween" snack for moms like me.  It's NOT one of those snack bars with a bunch of fillers, preservatives and sugar.

Made from ingredients like unsweetened fruits, nuts and spices, only whole and natural food goes into these bars and with only 9 ingredients at the most, it's easy to feel good about what you're putting into your body!

Keep reading to find out how to WIN a package of LARABARs!

One of the reasons I'm highlighting LÄRABAR® this month is that a large selection of their bars are made with Fair Trade Certified™ products

If you've been reading McKinney Mommas lately, you'll know that October is Fair Trade Awareness month and we're doing our best to highlight companies that promote this important movement!

About

LÄRABAR® started out with a small idea, founder Lara Merriken had while hiking in the Rocky Mountains. She thought to create a food that was wholesome, nutritious and convenient. Her first order of 500 bars, were created BY HAND, and the rest is history!

Fair Trade Certified™ LÄRABARS

My favorite flavor was the Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip!

Packed with a whopping 5 grams of protein, plus Fair Trade Certified™ chocolate chips and only 4 ingredients! This was totally tasty, and all-natural goodie-ness!

One of the NEW flavors that I enjoyed was Cappuccino! Somehow, the geniuses at LÄRABAR figured out how to make this delicious bar with only 5 ingredients and topped it off with 4 grams of fiber and 5 grams of protein.

LÄRABARs are a fantastic & healthy way to get you through to your next real meal!

I was also excited to try their new line of Jŏcalat bars, made with organic chocolate and other Fair Trade Certified products.

I loved the Chocolate Hazelnut, with ingredients like organic cocoa, organic almonds, organic hazelnuts, organic dates and...yes... organic chocolate, I'm feeling very spoiled AND healthy at the same time!

Organic, Chocolate, Fair Trade....three lovely things wrapped up in one delicious snack bar that is actually GOOD for you!

The Jŏcalat bars also come in flavors: Chocolate, Chocolate Coffee, and Chocolate Mint!
