It will my my daughter's FIRST CHRISTMAS this year so I'm trying to make some special "Christmas-y" memories with her.
I'll be taking her on Friday, November 18th at 6:00pm to The Annual Tree Lighting at The Village at Allen.
They're calling it an "interactive" tree show, which I really have no clue what they mean by that. However, I've heard there will be Christmas carols every 20 minutes (sung by the tree?) so maybe that's the interactive part.
If you get there early (5ish?), the first 1000 children to arrive will receive a holiday goody bag, that's supposed to be chock full of special offers from local stores / restaurants and treats for the kids!
Have fun and say "hi" if you see us there!
