Do you have a wedding, birthday or other social event coming up that you need a new outfit for?
You could go to one of the major department stores and buy a dress or skirt that I'm sure you'd look good wearing.
Or, you could shop online at Shabby Apple (http://www.shabbyapple.com) and find an incredible selection of women's dresses that will make you feel good wearing both inside and out.
Shabby Apple shares their profits with Unitus - an organization that helps the world's working poor by giving them access to micro-loans. For example, the dress I ordered gave a 35 year old widow, living in India, access to an $89 loan for her bamboo weaving company - that allowed her to continue to provide for her two children's basic care and education.
....and that's why you'll feel good about ordering your next dress from this company!
|Wearing my Shabby Apple Ballerina Dress|
I chose the Ballerina style from Shabby Apple, made from a pretty purple, soft jersey fabric that is ruched around the mid-section to flatter (ie. hide) my extra curves left over from pregnancy.
Please, keep in mind that I just had a baby 2 weeks prior to taking this photo - quite flattering if I don't say so myself. This style is so versatile, I could wear it out for a date, to a wedding, or even to the store - plus it has a great neckline that makes it great for breastfeeding.
Reading other reviews, consensus is that sizes run quite large at Shabby Apple - so order a size or two smaller than you'd usually order. I am usually a Medium or Size 8 (130lbs, 5'3) and I ordered an XS which fit great.
